Wake County School Bond

We are working with community leaders, parents, and voters across our county supporting the $548 million bond referendum to build new school facilities and renovate existing schools in Wake County.

The Friends of Wake County is a volunteer organization comprised of business leaders, community leaders, elected officials, and religious leaders who are dedicated to improving our quality of life through support for our public school system.

It’s critical that we build the new school facilities and renovate existing schools to keep pace with the growth we are experiencing here. Voter approved general obligation bonds are the best way to pay for school construction and renovations.

Working together, we’re building a better county because we’re investing in our schools and our children.
